Yeah. I've heard of various types of vampirism. While hard to explain (and I'll get around to doing it when I have more time) I believe that there are some people out there who you can use "vampire" as a slang term to label them.

Vampirism itself is in my opinion just taking energy from people. I think people who say they are awesome immortal spirits blah blah are just stupid.

No. Not the blood-drinking type. I was speaking more figuatively. I've been around people who have personalities that just leave others drained.

At least by the majority of people anyway. I know some pretty messed up people who are into the whole "I want to suck blood" kinkiness crap, and I also however, know a couple of people who are exactly that which would be considered a Psi-Vamp. well thiers two desease that cause the whole "I want to suck blood" And thier types that are like that. Psi's im not really..."cooperative" with ^_^'

And I think most of here already know about Porphyria as it relates to vampirism, as for the other I assume you mean Cholera? As cholera outbreaks were commonly associated with Vampirism. Also, another little known fact is that in ancient Romania, The terms Vampire and Werewolf were synonymous and meant the same thing since traditional legends Vampires could really become just about any animal, it is only because of Holly Wood that the association with bats are prominent these days. Also, in actual legends the transfer of power or vampiric abilities by method of bite, were extremely rare if not altogether nonexistent, and the methods of becoming a vampire, were ridiculously stupid.
