hello, I thought of this technique a little while back but I cant use it because im too inexperienced to use it. I also apologize if this thread is in the wrong place. Please tell me how it works for you k.
step 1. take the desired amount of energy from your tan tien in your arms, I recomend using one arm to start with.
step 2. now make block in either our elbow or your sholder.
step 3.make the block so it only let energy in not out.
step 4. ( optional ) compact the energy so it will get smaller to store more.
step 5. fill your arm till its full. ( sidenote ) if your havving problems keeping the energy in your arms, I recomend that you to make a fist so the energy doesnt leek out from your hands.
step 6. finally imagen ithe energy comeing out as a big shot then fire!!!!
well thats it, I hope you like it. hope it works. have fun ;D!

No need for "blocks." You really have no business pushing Chi out of your body if you don't even have enough concentration to focus it into one area without "blocks."

This is a technique that was on the old handbook site as well as in the forums at one point almost exactly. (this one is just missing a step that actually stops the energy from escaping before you want it to)

A block at the wrist to keep the energy from escaping. When you are ready, remove it for the blast. It's still not as effective as simply learning to properly control your energy though...

You don't need them, though. Ki follows your mind. If any Ki "escapes" it's because you lost your focus. If you can't stay focused then you have no business forcing Ki out of your body.

the blocks would proably help on a mental level. ki can also block other ki, i.e sheilds

the blocks would proably help on a mental level. ki can also block other ki, i.e sheilds If you resort to those, though, you're just limiting yourself. I don't think that someone trying to develop paranormal powers should be bound by mere factual science, high school physics, or blocks.

if ki can affect solid mater, then it can block itself. but it might limit them

Yes, it can block itself but there's no point. Just "tell" your Qi not to leave your body. It's your Qi, why would it do anything other than what you want? Blocks in general are extremely dangerous and this technique seems to be based on blocking a bunch of meridians and "hopefully" blasting some Qi out of the palm. However, there's only one point in the palm which Qi can come out of and that's only connected to one meridian in the arm.

That may be true. But if you're saying visualization moves your Qi and your visualizing blocks of Qi then you have blocks of Qi in your wrists (by your own logic).
